Applied development

From an unstructured task to a working solution

I help clarify what is worth building, test the idea through a diagram or prototype, and carry the solution into implementation — web and backend systems, bots, integrations, and applied AI.

This is especially useful when there is no stable specification yet, the existing system cannot be rebuilt blindly, and business and engineering need a shared language.

When this helps

The need makes sense, but the project is not yet stable

01

There is an idea, but no reliable framing

The goal and testable hypothesis need to be separated from the full wish list.

02

Requirements keep changing in conversation

A prototype or diagram makes the future result visible, so the discussion shifts from guesses to product rules.

03

An existing site or system is involved

Constraints, data, and integrations must be understood before choosing a safe way to add the new capability.

04

Participants see the project differently

The first stage needs explicit decisions, boundaries, and ownership.

Transferable experience

Experience transfers through the structure of a problem, not the industry label

Projects rarely repeat word for word. What matters is whether the underlying structure is familiar: an unclear need, a new user journey, inherited infrastructure, external services, sensitive data, several parties, and a hypothesis that should be tested before a large build.

I do not promise a precise outcome before discovery. First I make the options and risks visible, then propose a first stage that genuinely reduces uncertainty.

What I can do

From first discovery to implementation

Discovery and solution design

Problem framing, high-level architecture, options, risks, and a route into the next stage.

Prototype

A clickable model or technical spike to test product rules and stabilize the vision.

Web and backend

Landing pages, portals, APIs, server-side logic, databases, and integration into the existing environment.

Bots and automation

Intake flows, qualification, notifications, integrations, and structured context handoff.

Applied AI

Knowledge bases, assistants, RAG, and AI features inside products — without promising magic on unknown data.

Handoff or continued delivery

After the first stage I can continue implementation or hand a validated design and materials to the client team.

Example structures

Not a technology catalog, but different ways to carry an idea into use

pilot AI · knowledge

Corporate knowledge base and AI assistant

From a RAG hypothesis and an off-the-shelf tool to a custom architecture, roles, sources, routing, and working interface. Taken to the go-live threshold; the launch decision was made after I left.

How the work proceeds

Reduce uncertainty first

  1. Input.A short questionnaire and whatever materials already exist.
  2. Conversation. One meeting, sometimes two: business goal, users, constraints, and key options.
  3. Design.Problem framing, architecture, a diagram or prototype, boundaries, and first-stage criteria.
  4. Route.Implementation, a range estimate once uncertainty is low enough, or handoff to the client team.

For partners

You do not need to bring me into the entire project

A studio, integrator, or product team can bring me in for complex discovery, prototyping, or a separate technical component. The first-stage result can be handed back to your delivery team or developed together.

This format helps when a client is not ready for a fixed specification and the main team needs someone to structure uncertainty and prepare an executable route.

First step

Describe the task as it stands

Even if you do not have a solution or specification yet. I will help define the approach, check feasibility, and agree on a first stage.

In the messenger, describe the task in one message. I will reply there.
